Get your correct product images onto eBay

eBay's Inventory API pulls your image from an HTTPS URL, and a listing won't publish without one, through your seller access.

The whole idea in one line: the directory holds your correct image at a link, and eBay can read images from a link, so connecting them just means handing over the link.

Path A · Ask your AI

No code · no keys

Best for checking a brand, grabbing a handful of images, or handing correct links to whoever updates your listings.

  1. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to BrandrAI. Add this as a connector. It's open, so there's no login or key. directory.brandrai.com/mcp
  2. Ask for your images. Paste this into a new chat with BrandrAI turned on:
    Using the BrandrAI directory, find the correct product image for each item below. For each, give me the product name, the matched BrandrAI product, a confidence score, and the image URL. If you are not confident or there is no match, say so, do not guess.

    Or grab a whole brand at once: "Using BrandrAI, list every product for [brand] with its correct image URL." That's the most reliable way.
  3. Use the links. You get back the correct, brand-approved image link for each product, with a confidence note (it says "no match" instead of guessing).

Path B · Your store's API

Via your own access

Best for filling a whole catalog automatically.

  1. Get your correct image links from Path A (or the BrandrAI API).
  2. Set the image through your store's own access. eBay's Sell Inventory API attaches images via product.imageUrls (HTTPS URLs eBay fetches). An offer won't publish until the item has at least one image, using your seller access.

Path C · By hand

No keys · no tools

Best for one or two products.

  1. Get the correct image file. Open the image link the AI hands you in Path A (or a link from your private BrandrAI workspace) and save the image.
  2. Upload it to that product in eBay's back office. Done.
